Course Details
The B.A. B.Ed. Integrated Program is a four-year comprehensive degree that allows students to pursue a Bachelor of Arts alongside a Bachelor of Education. This innovative approach saves one academic year compared to taking the degrees sequentially.
This dual-degree program is specifically designed to create highly qualified subject-matter experts for secondary schools. It seamlessly integrates humanities subjects (like History, Geography, Languages, and Political Science) with robust pedagogical training, educational psychology, and teaching methodologies. We also offer Sociology along with Political Science.
Upon graduation, students are fully equipped and certified to step directly into teaching roles, or pursue further specialized postgraduate studies. This integrated route is highly valued by elite educational institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
The Students who have passed or appeared for their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/Std. 12) or an equivalent to 10+2 education examination from any stream (i.e. Science, Commerce, Arts etc.) from any statutory board of education in India with at least 50% marks, are eligible to apply for admission to the course. The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the central government/state government whichever is applicable.
